Werea S.rl. a startup of Italian origin that has created the collaborative platform AerariumChain (AEC). IThe AerariumChain (AEC) project was born to generate new value for museums, institutions and all custodians of works of art, helping the preservation of cultural heritage and improving the museum experience through the generation of NFT (Not-Fungible Token)[1]. Indeed, the aim of AerariumChain NFTs is to raise funds for the restoration, preservation and maintenance of museum assets. Through the integration of professional 3D scans, Blockchain and AI, AEC aims to generate new value for museums, eco-museums, institutions and individuals, offering technological solutions for the digitisation, preservation and monitoring of artworks, to improve its accessibility. A proposal that is cutting-edge and inclusive at the same time, which aspires to innovate the traditional models of access to artistic heritage, making works of arts accessible also by visually or mobility impaired people etc. The platform also allows to mitigate the socio-economic effects that the restrictions imposed by the pandemic have had on the museum sector, with repercussions on revenues and levels of employment.
Thanks to this project, Werea S.rl. has raised the interest of Borderless Capital and Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell’Amore – strategic and operational arm of Fondazione Cariplo in the field ofimpact investing – that have respectively invested in equity, for a total capital increase of €322,000 on a pre-money valuation of €3,000,000. €3.000.000.
