Previously, he worked for Fondazione Housing Sociale on structuring social housing projects. He also gained experience as a controller for a logistics company and, in 2016, founded a startup operating in the amateur sports sector. In 2021, he served as an adjunct lecturer at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, teaching courses on entrepreneurship and social impact finance.

He holds a degree in Management, with a Major in Corporate Finance, from Bocconi University, and has gained experience in structuring social housing projects at Fondazione Housing Sociale, in financial advisory at PwC Advisory S.p.A., and in audit within the Financial Services sector at KPMG S.p.A. In 2023, he completed a secondment at the Mustard Seed Maze fund in Lisbon.

He is responsible for the scientific and methodological direction of the Evaluation Lab. He teaches Economic Policy at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, where he is the Director of the Research Center on Cooperation and the Non-Profit Sector (CRC) and Coordinator of the Master’s program MOST (Models and Tools for the Management of Welfare and Sustainable Development). He has also served as Coordinator of the Observatory and Evaluation Area at Fondazione Cariplo.

He is responsible for the development of the Evaluation Lab’s strategic portfolio and oversees its scientific positioning within the national philanthropic system. After 15 years of research activity at the Institute for Social Research (IRS) in Milan, from 2006 to 2021 he served as Deputy Director of the Evaluation and Observatory Area at Fondazione Cariplo. He is a member of the ISTAT Advisory Committee for the design of censuses on non-profit institutions.
